Barbara Johns: Pioneering Teen Protester

At 16, Barbara Johns convinced classmates to walk out in protest of the segregated schools in her Virginia town. Then she filed a lawsuit, which became part of the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education case that eventually ended U.S. school segregation.
