This Worm Is Not a Worm

New Zealand glowworms are not really worms, but the larvae of a certain species of fungus gnat called Arachnocampa. The glowing insect larvae live in caves, where they dangle sticky threads to catch prey — and tourists marvel at the pretty, bead-like strands.
