The dwarf planet Eris is at the far end of our solar system. About the size of Pluto, it takes 557 Earth years to orbit the sun. Discovered in 2003 and named for the Greek goddess of discord, Eris is so cold that at times its atmosphere collapses and freezes on the surface!
