Villa Epecuen is Argentina’s real-life Atlantis. Built beside a salt lake in the 1920s, the resort was submerged under 33 feet of water after a long period of rain began a slow flood in 1985. In 2009, the water began receding, revealing the town’s salt-encrusted ruins.
