Beehive Invaders

Wax moths lay their eggs in beehives weakened by disease or other trauma, causing more damage as the larvae feed on honeycomb wax, pollen, and honey, and spin cocoons that harm the bees. In a healthy hive, adult bees prevent this destruction by removing moth larvae.
