Meet the Monkey Dog

The Affenpinscher (German for “monkey-terrier”) is one of the oldest known toy dog breeds. A slightly larger version dates to the 1600s, and they were first used to catch rats on farms or in stores. Soon they were bred smaller and became house pets too.
