Twelve years have passed since that terrible day—September 11th, 2001. It’s important and right that we stop to remember the loved ones lost, the heroism of the first responders, and the many who were inspired to serve, contribute, and volunteer in their communities. It’s also a time to reflect on the values we share and hold sacred as Americans and which endure.
