Swimming with the Oarfish

The giant oarfish, the world’s longest bony fish, can be up to 50 feet long! This elusive animal lives in deep ocean waters and is rarely seen alive. In 2011, marine biologists using a remotely operated vehicle captured the first video of five oarfish in the Gulf of Mexico.
