A Firefighter’s Hero: Paul Hyman

At 17, New York volunteer firefighter Paul Hyman invented a tiny infrared camera that goes inside firefighters’ masks so they can see through smoke and flames. He also created a sensor that releases carbon dioxide, a gas that extinguishes fire, when dryer lint gets too hot.
