Timbavati: Where White Lions Roam

The Timbavati region of South Africa is the only native home of white lions on Earth. These unusual animals are not albinos but get their coloring from a rare genetic marker. The last free white lion was seen in 1994, but a breeding program aims to return them to the wild.
