Shine On, Tiny Diamonds

Harvard scientists created a tiny diamond thermometer that measures temperature changes in a single cell. Because thermogenesis, the way organisms produce heat, is different in tumor cells, the technology could one day help target cancer cells without damaging healthy ones.
