Love for Lampreys

Lampreys are special to Native American tribes in the Pacific Northwest, who serve the sucker-mouthed fish at ceremonial events. Some species are anadromous, meaning they swim upstream to spawn, like salmon. They can’t jump, so they use their suction mouths to climb steep rocks!
