Here Comes the Sun Mirror

The Norwegian valley town of Rjukan gets no sun for half the year. In 1913, the town’s founder dreamed up the “Solspiel,” or sun mirror, to reflect sunlight into town. Technology caught up in 2013, and computer-driven mirrors were installed on a mountain to bring in light.
