Flu Fighter: Eric Chen

At 17, Eric Chen won the 2013 Google Science Fair for work on reducing the threat of a flu pandemic from such deadly strains as H5N1 (aka avian flu). He identified chemical compounds that can stop such viruses from spreading — and could be the basis of new anti-flu drugs.
