Deep Lake Amid Volcanoes

Considered the deepest lake in Central America, Lake Atitlán sits in the highlands of southwestern Guatemala, surrounded by three volcanoes: Atitlán, Tolimán, and San Pedro. With a known depth of about 1,115 feet, its waters are deeper than the Eiffel Tower is tall!
