Robo-Fish, Fast as a Real Fish

The flexible bodies of soft robots are less likely to cause damage if they run into people or things, which means they can move more quickly than rigid robots do. In 2014, MIT scientists built a soft robo-fish that changes direction in about 100 milliseconds, which is as fast as a real fish!
