Goats Eat Poison Ivy

Goats can chow down on poison ivy with no ill effects. One small herd even helped clear out a dense patch around New Jersey’s historic Fort Hancock in 2013. But beware: The plant’s itch-causing oil (urushiol) gets on the goats, so touching them could give you a rash.
