Making Yellow Buses Greener

Illinois teen Jonny Cohen started the GreenShields project in 2008 to make school buses more fuel-efficient. The wave-shaped device, which sits on top of a bus, cuts down wind drag. Though still experimental, the latest version has been shown to improve mileage by up to 20 percent!
