Tallest Tsunami

The highest tsunami ever recorded was caused by a 1958 earthquake that shook a massive pile of rocks into Alaska’s Lituya Bay. The rocks fell 3000 feet and hit the water with so much force, their impact created a wave that removed all vegetation from elevations of 1,720 feet high!
