KD1: Neighborhood Helpers

Students may know them as firefighters, police officers, teachers, and even neighbors. But together, these important neighborhood helpers make up the people and services that form what we know as a community. Introduce them to the concepts of government services, rights and responsibilities, and all of the ways people help other people in and around a neighborhood.
