Big Names for Tall Trees

California’s Sequoia National Forest is home to some of the world’s biggest trees. Many of the largest giant sequoias are named after figures in U.S. history, including Civil War General William Sherman, President Ulysses S. Grant, and Cherokee Chief Sequoyah.
