Bomb-Sniffing Bees

Honeybees can be trained to sniff out bombs by associating the smell of explosives with sugar water. When a trained bee smells even a tiny amount of bomb chemicals, it waves its proboscis, expecting to find nectar. Scientists have also taught bees to sniff out illegal drugs.
