Canyon of the Deep

One of the world’s largest underwater canyons, Hudson Canyon stretches about 460 miles into the ocean from New York Harbor. Home to many deep-sea creatures, it provides shelter for some fish in winter. It may also be a good source of methane, a clean-burning natural gas.
