Craters on the planet Mercury are named after famous artists, musicians, writers, and other creative types. Among the Americans honored are Walt Disney, science-fiction authors Madeleine L’Engle and H.P. Lovecraft, blues musician Muddy Waters, and composer Scott Joplin.
