Dolphin IDs

Every bottlenose dolphin has a “signature whistle,” like we have names. They whistle to identify themselves and mimic others’ whistles to call them. In 2013, a University of Chicago biologist found that dolphins remember old friends’ whistles for at least 20 years or more.
