Earthquakes Are Everywhere

Earthquakes in the U.S. aren’t limited to shaky places like California and Alaska. Powerful quakes have happened in the Midwest too. Between 1975 and 1995, the only states with no quakes at all were Florida, Iowa, North Dakota, and Wisconsin, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
