Eisenhower’s Service

Dwight D. Eisenhower was the only U.S. President to serve in both World Wars. He remained Stateside in WWI, running a tank training center in Pennsylvania, but in WWII he famously commanded the Allied forces in the massive Normandy invasion on D-Day (June 6, 1944).
