How Humpback Whales Feed

In a process called “bubblenet feeding,” one humpback whale blows bubbles while swimming around a school of fish, slowly penning them in. Others make noises to scare the fish to the surface. Then the whales lunge upward with mouths wide open, gulping all they can eat!
