Long Hot Martian Summer

Like Earth, Mars has four seasons. The Martian year is almost twice as long as Earth’s, so seasons there last longer than ours do. But since Mars has more variations in its orbit, and its axis tilts more, summer and spring are a little longer than fall and winter.
