Loopy Loop

A Möbius strip, named for 19th-century German mathematician August Ferdinand Möbius, is a loop with a twist — literally. One twist turns a two-sided loop into a one-sided strip. Make one with a strip of paper and tape or glue, then draw a line on it and see for yourself.
