Mystery of the Pyramids

The builders of the Egyptian pyramids dragged huge stones and statues across the desert on large sleds. University of Amsterdam physicists have shown that the sand was probably made wet to firm it up, so sleds would be easier to pull and sand wouldn’t pile up in front of them.
