Many astronauts have said powdery moondust is a lot like snow. While exploring the moon, Apollo 17 geologist Harrison Schmitt playfully worked out a way to “ski” across the surface. Thanks to the low gravity, he found himself gliding along just above the moondust! (Image: NASA)
