Solving Sonic Boom

One limitation of supersonic jet travel is that the continuous sonic boom causes too much noise pollution. Now, a 1950s design by Adolf Busemann has inspired scientists to create a supersonic biplane that could reduce the noise and make super-fast flights more practical.
