The first Chinese emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, began his rule in 246 BC, at age 13! In 1974, some Chinese workers discovered Qin’s massive underground tomb, still being guarded by thousands of clay warriors, horses, and chariots — now called the terracotta army.
