A Laysan albatross named Wisdom is the world’s oldest banded bird. Thought to be about five when she was tagged in 1956, she’s at least 63 now. But she’s still going strong at her home on Midway Atoll: In February 2014, she hatched another chick, between her 30th and 35th offspring!
