Who Invented Bendy Straws?

Inventor Joseph B. Friedman created the flexible straw after seeing his young daughter struggle to drink her milkshake with a straight straw. He made the first bendy straw with a screw and some dental floss, and patented his “Drinking Tube” in 1937.
