Wicked Winter Wind

The Santa Ana wind in Southern California is a dry, strong, warm to hot wind that blows from the desert but usually happens in fall and winter, when the desert is actually cooler. Contrary to myth, it isn’t associated with earthquakes, but it does increase wildfire risk.
