KD2: The First People

This Print Title provides an overview of American Indian history. American Indian groups and tribes thrived all across North America, adapting to the land, and creating their own unique customs and cultures. Get a glimpse what life was like before European settlers arrived, as well as the conflict and change brought on upon due to their arrival. A complicated and complex subject for 3rd graders, this Title aims to introduce students to American Indians past and present, with the hopes they will continue their investigation beyond the pages of the 20-page reader.
