NGSS Engineering Design Set

The massive growth that’s occurring in STEM-related fields has created the need to teach engineering concepts, and in particular the engineering design process, at the elementary and middle school levels. Inspired by NGSS Engineering Design standards for grades 6-8, this collection of 10 issues includes an overview to Engineering, inventions such as rockets and robots, and inventors such as Thomas Edison and the Wright Brothers. In true Kids Discover fashion, this themed set blends history and science and presents a case that engineering design is less about technology, and more about human ingenuity.
