Native to the steppes of Eurasia, Przewalski’s horse is the only truly wild horse. This breed has never been ridden or tamed. In the 1970s, it went extinct in the wild, but captive-bred animals were later re-introduced into the steppes. Przewalski’s horse is known for its Mohawk-style mane, short legs, and stocky body.
